Beijing Baihe (White River) Section One
Baihe (White River) locates to the north of Beijing near the Miyun Reservoir. The area is currently being developed by local climbers and already has some 45 sport, traditional, and aid climbing routes created. In addition, it has potential for hundreds of new routes in the future. At Baihe, it is possible to camp or stay in the local village guesthouses.
Access: Take a coach from Dongzhimen to Miyun County (price: 10yuan). Rent a cab (price: 30-40 yuan) at the Miyun Coach Station and ask the driver to bring you to 'Dashitou (Big Stone)'.
Camping: Yes, along the river. Be cautious of flood and flash in summer.

- Difficulty 5.7, height 25 meters, two pitches with colted angers.
- Difficulty 5.9, height 13 meters, colted hangers. Toprope by a tree and a hanger.
- Difficulty 5.8, height 13 meters, two colt hangers on the top. Cams needed along the crack route.
- Difficulty 5.11C, height 11 meters, colt hangers. The route has two challenging parts: one is between the first and second hanger, the other is between the last and second last hanger.
- Difficulty 5.12A, height 13 meters, colted hangers.
- Difficulty 5.11D, height 20 meters, colted hangers.
- Difficulty 5.10A, height 12 meters, colted hangers.

- Difficulty 5.11b to 5.11c, height 15 meters, colted hangers. (Route 9 and 10 were developed by Xu Xiaoming in June 2000 at this section.)

Route 9 and 10 extensions are both rating 5.10b/c and 10 meters high with colted hangers. Developed by Xu Xiaoming and Andes in September 2000.
